Remy was good against Everton too. Don't know why he didn't start, except to accommodate Zaha now that he's good enough to play for us again after his little African adventure has ended.

The only real positive I can think of is that 3 out of 4 signings did not play. So there's a chance we may actually be able to improve.

The lack of leadership and soft mentality was unbelievable today... Even more surprising that it was after a win and solid defensive display. I hope sakho and luka can add an ounce of leadership, confidence and composure to the side. That 5 minute spell before halftime was an absolute horror show.

The positive is that the shock and embarrassment of that result can be used by the manager, if he is doing his job, to get a reaction. Losing 1 - 0 would still have been no points but might have been put down to bad luck, dodgy ref (and we did have one of those), individual error (ditto).

If we don't get that reaction we will be relegated, I think.
