Anyone have any news on Tomkins apparently told a fan to F off after final whistle. The bond between the players and fan have truly demolished.

I find it hard to believe , unless he was severely provoked.
Other fans on Twitter say he did no such thing.

Can't add anything to the speculation about any incident but he is surely one of the most useless defenders in the PL. No strength, no fight, no ability. Rather Have Paul McShane or Peter Ramage back.

Gotta be honest I didn't see anything like that. Did see delany shrug his shoulders towards us. Didn't go down well with some people around me. Taking it to mean 'oh well'
Did see Van Aanholt give his shirt to someone in the front. Nice gesture.

For me the fans have a right to vent there frustration! But yet seen to think we can abuse the players at will. Yes they get paid bollocks loads of money but they are only human. The first 2 seasons we came up i remember being 4-1 down to Fulham and every time they scored we got bloody louder. To many fair weather fans jumping on the prem band wagon. We've all just got to do our bit in the stands. We aren't helping with the situation we are in.

Tend to agree. Masked by the fact he occasionally dribbles forward and wins important headers...but week after week..not quite good enough.Add Pva and shlupp to the list of over priced defenders who aren't likely to fix our problems. Interested fact, JT is the most expensive English CB without an international cap.

Did not see that at all when they came off as Northeagle said Delaney was obviously not pleased with some of the abuse from some individuals in the crowd.. Very little positive acknowledgement from the players or management with the exception if PVA and Flamini and a couple of others. It looked as though they were as pissed of with the few fans hurling abuse as the fans dishing out the abuse.
Overall the fans there were appreciative of the performance the team put in.

People get emotional in football, especially if you lose.
This is all storm in a teacup nonsense.
Forget about it and support the team against 'boro.

care to back that opinion up fella as i think hes actually been pretty decent for us...granted he cant finish volleys for toffee but hes a CB so i dont expedt that from him.

looks like a solid, vertasile buy for the money.

I was sitting on that side near the front, something definitely happened between him and fans as he refused to clap and stared down a minority of fans no doubt giving him loads.
Not really on but we as fans at the stadium have a responsibility to get behind the boys and help get them out of this mess otherwise we make this situation worse!
I do feel there is a minority of fans with short memories these days, just look how far we've come! Longest period ever in the premier league, we could so easily be playing league 1 football if at all!

I was in the third row and saw him walk off stone faced, but he didnt utter a word. Most of us were giving them a clap and I was looking for Damo's reaction. As he got nearer the tunnel an arsehole in about row 6 with his bird starting screaming abuse at him!- what a tosser. I thought Damo had played OK. It would be better if some of these "fans" didn't bother coming. No of us like what the team is going through and I doubt the players atre loving it either.
