I keep hearing loads on here about 'we are down'!! we have gone'!!! 'who we going to keep in the Championship etc. Bloody hell!!! We are 2 points off safety with 13 games left. All of the bottom six have at least 3 games against each other which cancels one of the other teams out (remember 2 teams cannot win the same game!!!) plus all of the bottom six also have at least 3 games against the top six teams. Honestly, this year will see the lowest points total needed to stay up in many a year, possibly 34 points could be enough. I truly believe we can get another 15 points from our remaining fixtures. We just need to believe. Have a look at Middlesbro's final 5 games and tell me how they will get more than 2 points from those games. I reckon Leicester have the worst fixture pile up possibly and their exertions in the Champions League will cost them dearly and Sunderland would have had their confidence seriously dented after yesterday.

f*** off. We're doomed. And with clattenburg in charge it is perfectly possible for both teams to win the same game.

I think the negativity is justified based on the performances. We've had a few games labelled 'must win' but other results have been kind to us.

Middlesbrough now genuinely is a must win. We'd be out the bottom 3, leapfrog them and have confidence.

Still not great but we'd have a chance. Leicester are capitulating and Boro and Sunderland are both weak. Lose it however and we are screwed!

Ive been around for too many years to get too negative or indeed too excited over what Palace may or may not do for the rest of the season .
We do though need a couple of wins sharpish ,everyone will feel a lot better if the run in is not while the wrong side of the trap door .

The break has come at a good time for us and hopefully we will see a better side in two weeks .Any more of what we have seen since Christmas and we are I'm afraid finished as a premier league outfit .

And we still need a striker

The trouble is all these must win games we keep losing.

Yes of course you are right if we beat Middlesbrough we should be out the bottom 3.

What on Earth makes you think that will happen though? We are the worst team in the division and a team that lost 4-0 at home beat us 4-0 at our home.

It's probably done but I hope I'm wrong.

But everyone around us is doing just as badly and I bet they're saying exactly the same as us. Boro is must, must, must win IMO.

If we don't go down who on earth are worse than us to fill the bottom three places?

We need luck now and a lot of it.

It's all over no passion no commitment can't win at home or away can't defend for toffee and now ain't scoring goals see you in the championship we won't win another game all season and the most embarrassing season ever in the club's history sorry to call myself a palace fan of 39 years

While I really want us to stay up I would hate nothing more than to be supporting a bland club cemented in mid table, no genuine prospects of breaking the glass ceiling (Leicester being a freak event as demonstrated by their form this season)and never in fear of relegation. If you've been around for long enough you know how hard supporting this club can be at times and how we are often at our best when we're the underdogs. Well that title has been re-instated.Still so much to play for. Only 2 points off safety. I love this club, I love the vast majority of our fans and that isn't dependent on what division we're in. Let's get stuck in and stop wailing. It is what it is.
