And we gave this credit to Britain £1,000,000. Cue the usual suspects telling us how it was not enough, and how it is all the fault of Tony Blair etc etc etc.

There is absolutely nothing out there which says he received £1mill except via this dubious claim/lie by The Daily Mail with absolutely nothing to back it up proof wise.

Questioning a daily mail claim does not make one an apologist.

Usual s***e smearing hodgeheg

The release of Fiddler form Guantanamo Bay followed a high profile campaign by the, blind in every sense of the word, then Labour Home Secretary David Blunkett for him to be let out — just two years after he was captured by US troops in Afghanistan.

Mr Blunkett said at the time: "No one who is returned … will actually be a threat to the security of the British people.”

If its the Daily Mail it is assumed to be untrue.

They brought this on themselves.

Guantanamo detainees were all given compensation, though, weren't they? All that's at issue is the matter of quantum and the Mail may or may not have got it right. Big deal.

The fact is, this c*nt skanked the UK taxpayer out of whatever and promptly went on to demonstrate that the septics were absolutely right to bang him up in the first place.

Good riddance to scum.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

I think it was money well spent. I wouldn't mind paying all of the jihadist scum If I knew they were going to blow their own brains out. It's probably cheaper than putting the army over there to do it.
