I'm pretty Stuk was getting completely p1ssed off with Gusset's continual resurrection of the same points over and over again and posting the same untruths that have been dealt with years ago... we all are FFS. I thought Sash and Syd would be posting about the 6 Nations too. The site is at a low ebb for quality punditry and needs an influx of women as much as anything to brighten the place up.

I enjoy debating with you but you and Hrolf are equally culpable for deterioration in the quality in General Talk. Every debate seems to end up some endless prattling between the three of you. And the fact you've mentioned him in this thread pretty much confirms that. You said you weren't going to engage with him directly. Can you stop engaging with him indirectly as well then? I enjoy debating with you too.... you are able to play with a straight bat I've found. I would like to ignore Gusset, but like Willo (another nause on the HOl)... he's in everyone's faces repeating the same old sh1t day after day even when he knows it is bollocks. I might even join Stuk to be honest because it is very boring on here right now. I appreciate your intervention though.

I think it's fair to say we don't agree on everything but I do thoroughly enjoy your contributions outside of where they seem to be focused on Nick. But it seems to be harder and harder nowadays to find any thread that hasn't just descended into sniping between you and Nick, Nick and Hrolf, or you and Hrolf against Nick. We may not agree on everything but we can agree General Talk is getting very boring right now. And that's despite the fact we arguably live in one of the most interesting political circumstances of many of our lives.

There are plenty of other posters. If you stop posting then it will be missed. And while some of Nick's contributions can be frustrating, I personally think some of his will be as well.

General Talk seems to be a private club with the same half dozen people trying their hardest to batter each other into submission so I don't bother much and prefer to have my "general chatting" elsewhere where it isn't quite as cliquey
