The fifth annual Country to Country (C2C) festival took place over the weekend, with some of country music’s biggest stars performing to packed audiences at venues in Dublin, Glasgow and London. The event was covered on the BBC’s four day pop-up station, Radio 2 Country, which included live broadcasts of all the concerts held at London’s O2 Arena from Friday to Sunday. Did anyone on here attend any of the shows at C2C this year, or listen to anything on the pop-up station? Were there any performances you especially enjoyed, or any other things about the festival you really liked? Are there any particular artists you would like to see there next year? I wasn’t able to go to any of the festival myself, but enjoyed the coverage on the radio with my favourite performers being Brad Paisley, Reba McEntire and Marty Stuart. Chris Young, the Brothers Osborne and the Zac Brown Band, who closed the event on Sunday night, were very good as well. Worldwide access to everything on BBC Radio 2 Country can still be found here on the BBC iPlayer for the next few weeks: [Link]
