Today's game will really show how far we have comeback, and can go further. The points are massively important, but so is the actual performance ... a good game by us will significantly dent the hopes and aspirations of those below us. COYP, sneeking suspicion that we grab a point 🤗

Need at least 3 points next three games, anymore would be such a bonus.

Anything is possible now we've stopped immitating a leaky bucket.
Losing to the leaders isn't as bad as most loses but it could do lasting damage if we lose our momentum now.
Hope it doesn't happen and we get a draw at least out of it.

Let's not kill ourselves though if this finishes a routine 3/4-0 loss.

This is the team that will win the league and have made minimal slip ups along the way.

I think the home game to Arsenal will show our capability. If we put the frighteners up them it'll really be a test of our new spirit to see if we can get something.

Of course I hope I'm wrong though. I've even got tickets for today so there's still that sucka inside of me that thinks we'll do it!

Very sensible comments have been posted so far.

We need to stay calm whatever happens today - even if we lose and HCFC win; relegation or safety won't be decided this weekend (sorry to state the obvious!),

Today is all about damage limitation. We have games ahead of us where points can be harvested.

On the other hand, it's highly likely Chelsea won't win their last 10 matches. Someone is going to 'nick a point' or even 3. So maybe....

Chelsea are capable of destroying any team at the Bridge with the range of attacking options they have.

I doubt that we will do anything more than park the bus for long periods and try to hit them on the break if we can. Zaha and Townsend are more than capable of this.

Pardew would have gone toe to toe with them and we would have been dicked.... Sam's approach to this game will be defensive and save our powder for games where we can conceivably pick up points.

Today is all about not getting injuries, needless bookings and working on our defensive shape.

0-0 or better will be a huge bonus... but a 3-0 or more to Chelsea will not be a reason to be pessimistic about our hopes for survival.

Yet more sensible comment, HH. In fact I vote this the most sensible forum topic of the week!
