Was MOM for me yesterday. A fantastic defender who I really hope makes his move here permanent next season.

I can't remember which thread it was on but when we completed his signing I remember writing that we could hope for a competent defender but at worst, we would get a bit of crazy in the dressing room to break players out of their slump.

Many people weren't sure what we were getting when we signed Sakho, understandably, if he didn't play another minute though I already think it has been worth it. His on the field performances have been an example to follow but in the dressing room he seems to have really restored some spirit and enjoyment.

If Zaha goes, we will be able to sign Sakho, but I would rather have Zaha because we have already agreed a deal for another center back, Kara Mbodji from Anderlecht. If we sign him, we may not need Sakho, but in a perfect world Zaha and Sakho will both stay and we can cancel the Mbodji deal.
