Great artical from a s*** newspaper...

[Link]

Goes in to detail about Sam's methods and touches upon Jedi being sold and not replaced.

Sam's the man!

Quality manager we're lucky to have.

Exactly why we don't have to wait for short lived top 10 finishes or following seasons with cup finals and the worst league form in Europe over a year to confirm he's a massive upgrade and won't leave us in cow pat after the luck has run out.

While we are lucky to now have Sam as manager it may well be a two way street. If - as now looks more likely - we survive this season, and if we able to keep several of our now key players (I know that's a big if),plus a couple of new recruits, then Sam could go into next season with probably the best squad he has ever had. We could then seriously contemplate a season where we are not continually looking over or shoulders but are looking upwards!

Sams signings have been amazing PVA Schlupp Luka and Sakho have transformed our team plus Sammy Lee and Martyn Margetson on the coaching side. All of them have hit the ground running

I agree. I wouldn't expect another relegation dogfight next year, but then again no one thought we would be here this year, either. I would expect 14th-9th, not trying to get carried away, and a decent run in the cup.

Speroni would've saved it!
