Croydon council are to blame . They think the Whole of Croydon is indeed in Surrey and not a London Borough which of course it isn't if you live in any part of Croydon bar South Norwood .

Thing is London is in all the surrounding counties, Surrey, Kent, Middlesex, Essex, just cos of a postcode doesn't mean it ain't. I didn't even think about it until one day it finally dawned on me that Middlesex play in London and Surrey play at Kennington Oval. I know I'm stupid but it honestly never dawned on me until about 5 years ago.
So Woolwich is probably in Kent and Bermondsey is either Kent or Surrey, so Millwall are either pikeys or Nigels.

South norwood is a London borough. London borough of croydon even though it's Surrey on the address. Same as sidcup is London borough of bexley but Kent on the postal address.

Some parts of south Norwood have SE25 written on the bottom corner. I always get confused on why this is not the case with all road signs but boroughs like Merton (also in outer London and was Surrey ) have the SW19/SW20 on the corner of all road signs.

Most road signs broadcast the fact they are in London, a lot of them have London Borough of Lambeth on the bottom and the SE post mark. Are we really still talking about road signs
