SWANSEA OR US ??!! Exactly!!! of course we are still much better off. Swansea have no margin for error. If they lose a game they are finished as far as we are concerned. They have a tough game against Everton next Saturday and i actually think the Sunderland away game is tougher for them than many on here think. There is no pressure on Sunderland now they are down, and often teams play better in those circumstances. We simply have to win one game, which has to be the Hull home game. But we wont need to if Swansea drop points from now on

One wonders what Everton will be like after today's defeat. They are safely in 7th place and cannot go lower. Edited by Willo (30 Apr 2017 7.15pm)

Everton is a tough game for them however they played well today and are lucky to be the late game so will know how Hull and us have done, if as expected we lose it will boost Hull and them.

There is just no use speculating.Bottom line is we need to beat Hull, lose and we are down, because to be mathematically safe we need three points. No point worrying about what Hull or Swansea may do. Luckily it's in our own hands.

Swansea will note that we are playing Hull. Swansea only have to finish above one or other of us so this gives them a chance. We have played badly today and that gives them every incentive to think they can finish above us. Swansea looked really good against ManU and were unlucky not to win and that was the most difficult fixture they have left. We looked really poor against Burnley and that was, on paper, the easiest fixture we have left.

Burnley was the 7th game in a month. We will be fresher for all of the next three games. I think we give Man City a good go. Respect the point, but maybe get more.

I got a bit worried when Sam said we were in "Champions League" form.
