Glad for Victor - was a fantastic player for us and always destined for big things. I sense he still holds us very close to his heart. How I wish we had bought him back!!
When was the last time one of our academy kids really hit the bit time?

Clyne
Zaha
Routledge (if you can call Swansea "big time".

I don't think we have any other academy products in the Premiership.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Our academy underperforms significantly given the potential catchment that we have.

Really? On what basis do you arrive at that conclusion? Wigan to Palace or Wigan to Chelsea was never going to be much of a contest was it?

If you're thinking of medals and playing Champions league Victor looks like he's well and truly done it. Conte seems to love him.
I also think its a shame that having played for all England youth sides he is another who has felt so ignored he has switched nationality.

I have definitely read an article (no doubt someone will find it)where he spoke of his great fondness for the club and the years he spent here. I also got it from when he was subbed when we played Chelsea and there seemed to be mutual appreciation.

Bloke on talk Sport was talking about Moses last night as if he came through the ranks at Chelsea.

Made me sick.nearly made me get out of bed and call in and correct the presenter.

A lot of Palace fans said he wasn't good enough and unproven at top level. Them people were very wrong

Although a slightly different type of player, he was our Zaha back then. Dancing through defences often failing at the end.

Both have moved towards completion this season.
