Wilf yes. deffo.

Punch, nah, ponichetto knew straight away what he was capable of and that's midtable/lower midtable premiership standard, he's a better leader than dann, he is respected amongst the group, he is a good player, but if you wanna see palace finish 7th or the like next year, I think we need to improve on him sadly, not necessarily sell him though, we need players of his caliber in the squad to strengthen us when the injuries come in.

Well apparently they turned up in the Whitehorse last night! Not sure if anyone can confirm but a nice touch if true.

In my view Wilf is definitely heading that way, but needs to have the kind of season where he scores 15 goals, and makes as many, to get into the real legend zone. He is a constant threat and finally this season has become more clinical. I'd have put money on him fluffing that chance a couple of years back.

As for Punch...he needs to regain his shooting boots but played well yesterday. If only he wasn't so one-footed he'd be a significantly better player.

One is worth 50M and coveted by the top clubs the other is worth 5M and no other premier league team would want him, bit of a difference.
Punch is a great Captain and talisman but as a defensive/ non scoring midfielder he is decidedly championship.

Wilf is certainly up there with the best but, in my book, Johnny Byrne was the best ever in my lifetime of watching Palace.

Wilf has to go down as one of the greats. He has been instrumental in our recent success.

Play offs - two goals against the weed
Play off final - draws a penalty
Yesterday, scored the opener settled the teams nerves = PL survival.

Then you have his overall ability and application. He has been sensational the last two seasons.

I don't think either make the top 10 yet, Zaha has potential, but has only really had one good season in the Premier.

If it's permissible to nominate goalkeepers, John Jackson.

He was superb last season too. He was left to try and carry the team for half of it and did a bloody good job of it.
