Just browsing the BBC Sport website today and there seems to be a fairly solid rumour that Man City's Nolito is being targeted by Real Betis at a miniscule £3.4m.

[Link]

Now it does say that he's on about £100,000 a week and that this would be a problem for Betis, so presumably for him to leave City he'll be taking a pay cut anyway.

He's only 30, so surely we should be looking at this, He can play as a striker but also on either wing or as an attacking midfielder. Could he not be an ideal replacement for Puncheon in the No. 10 role? Also provides an alternative to Wilf/Townsend or indeed cover if they get injured, let's be honest we don't want to see Sako playing too much next season! If we could get him to take a pay cut, for a tiny initial outlay on a transfer fee this seems to be a no brainer for a proven Spanish international who scores goals.

He's probably home sick that's why he's been linked with a move back to Spain.

In talks with Real Betis for just £3.4 million.

Would be an absolute steal and can play winger, CAM or striker.

I like this suggestion. I'm not into old(ish) players (as he's past the 30 mark), but THIS GUY IS SO GOOD AT THE BALL that you can't not want him.

Great suggestion, cheap as chips fee and 70k a week should see it done. massive improvement of the first eleven and added experience.

A signing like this could eclipse the signing of Lombardo.

Slowly slowly catchy monkey

So Ronaldo would also be too 'old'?
