It's probably just media speculation as we've been linked with him in the past so they've just stuck our name on the list plus that of West Ham who the media link with almost everyone

He's a decent player but no danger he's worth £20mn. For that price I'd want someone who is an automatic starter and I don't think he would be.

We will only buy McCarthy if we sell Cabaye in the summer and that would be the only reason I'm personally think Cabaye should stay or even give him another contract but what do I know
