Here is a section from the times interview with Parish: “He has not even played in the Championship. He shouldn’t have more money just because he’s in a Premier League academy. That’s nonsense. What has he proved?” Any ideas who it could be?

Its no more absurd that paying someone 110k a week either though. Remember if he signs on 10k a week for a three year contract, and is playing in the first team inside of say a month, he's playing for 10k a week. Its a capitalist world, you aren't what your worth, you are what you can command. Plus if your looking for 1k a week, starting a 10k gives you a lot more leeway to get a better deal.
