i liked chris martin who we had a few years ago for some reason. i don't know why, he was alright

Looking at this lot, we had some very good loanees.

I loved Forsell, Vaughan was good, Martin did a job, Stewart was outstanding. And then there's Wilf!

Yeah but the gap between him and striker and the gap between him and def mids wasn't alright.

Chris Martin had a vast area with nobody to help him to turn an 'everyone behind the ball' strategy into a goal.

Obviously not a bad player but the set up wasn't in favour of strikers or supporting strikers.
