I have a bit of an issue i have a 1996 Toyota Starlet, and I have lost the key. The car is currently parked at a friends house in a visitors car park space. I have no issue with scrapping the car, however my biggest problem is that I have misplaced the log book. What do I do? I could get a new log book, however I am pretty sure I only updated my drivers license when I changed address, and not my logbook. Nightmare.

Just get in touch with the DVLA, my son lost his log book and scrapped his car , he just wrote to them told them the company who took it and it's all fine, just use a legitimate company and they'll know what to do as well.
