Who in our squad is irreplaceable?

The only players for me is Zaha and Benteke. I don't mean sell the whole squad but if sensible offers come in for any of the other players . You'd consider it. I seen a lot of fans up in arms about dann and mcarthur potentially leaving. If there replaced adequately. I don't see the problem. Which jedinak wasn't until Jan. What your feelings?

That we should be getting on with making a few key signings to improve the squad and stop talking about who we could sell.

I'd add luka to that list. We are not going to find someone as good at what he does without paying silly money.

Our squad is pretty thin - don't think we should be entertaining offers for our first team players unless they're way above value

Nobody is irreplaceable, as inevitably they will all go at some stage. Its more about who we bring in to replace them.

That's a fair point. It does suggest a Ian Holloway approach. De Boer would of be in situ, 2 weeks on Monday. There's glaring holes in the squad but like normality, we seem to leave the majority of our business to the last 2 weeks of the window.

Agreed,we have learnt since then,that we did not need 16 signings. Steady improvement nowadays.

Joel ward needs competition for his place, if Luka gets injured, we up the creek and losing Sakho a massive hole. Also would like a goal getting mid to push puncheon for his place. These academy products are not ready yet for the first team, in my opinion.
