Just interested to know what other people's expectations are so the question is how many new players will start or be on the bench against Huddersfield? I reckon 3. I can't see us signing more than that in the next 5 weeks but I expect we'll get another one or two before the transfer window closes .

I don't think FdB likes many of our CBs, think one will leave alongside Mccarthur, if only to help finance whats coming in. I think one new CB will play from the start. I think we'll get Sakho, Cillensen, a midfielder and a striker, not sure who out of those positions. Cant see it being v Persie and that Hull player because that would mean FdB lied when he said he wanted to reduce the squad age...

I don't think FdB likes many of our CBs, think one will leave alongside Mccarthur, if only to help finance whats coming in.

I think one new CB will play from the start.

I think we'll get Sakho, Cillensen, a midfielder and a striker, not sure who out of those positions.

Cant see it being v Persie and that Hull player because that would mean FdB lied when he said he wanted to reduce the squad age...

Agree with all of the above other than the lieing statement about RVP. I'm not sure ever single player has to be young, I think he's statement is more about overall wanting to bring in young players. Anyway generally agree it looks like we're looking at changing the spin of the team to suit a more possession based style. Think it's a great window is we get Sakho, Cillensen a proper decent midfielder and a back up to Benteke. Thrown in Wilfs new contract. Wow I'd be pleased with all of the above! Agree with all of the above other than the lieing statement about RVP. I'm not sure ever single player has to be young, I think he's statement is more about overall wanting to bring in young players.

I expect a right back and CB to be the first 2 signings. A new keeper, striker and midfielder/number 10 will be about enough. That's 5 but I expect the midfielder to be the last one in and won't be in the squad come Huddersfield
