He was only on the pitch for fifteen minutes or so in the Asia Trophy match v Liverpool but he did look confident and promising. Spurs did not want to lose him as a sixteen year old so is it payback for the way in which we lost John Bostock to them ? Maybe Nya will go on to become the player that John could have become had he not made his ill-fated decision to desert Palace and head for North London.

That would be good, but let's not burden him with too great a weight of expectation otherwise we might end up with the next Jonny Williams
