Tom heaton (the goalie we should target)

Was superb last season for Burnley, He's form made him break into the England reckoning. Just looked at his stats 73 games and 20 clean sheets in the prem. The only downside I sell is his age at 31, but goalkeepers can go on for longer. I think he's valued about 10m.

Heaton is a proper keeper. Maybe do a swap deal with Hennessey going thee other way.

I reckon they have no real cash for a keeper. The barca one would've been a loan imo. Initially anyway. The funds are going on outfield players. They're only going for a adrien as he's cheap enough. They can't at this juncture spend 10m on a keeper with the other positions to fill. Burnley wouldn't loan him out either as he's first choice there.

I think the Jamaican national team goalkeeper Andre Blake would be a better target and cheaper. He is also only 26 years old

Love the use of "goalie" in the title of the thread! Took me back to when "goalie" or even "custodian" were the norm.

Quality keeper, would be an upgrade. Adrian is on the same level of Hennessey in my opinion, so I see no point in pursuing him.
