I saw this the other day. I wonder if he is still happy with his decision, althoughy he's probably on £60k a week so I expect he's very happy.

Hector joined the club he has supported as a boy.Going to Hull is the 14th 'Loan' of his career. Prefers playing at centre-half but is certainly versatile as he can play in other positions in defence and I have also seen him deployed in midfield.Hector is the second Chelsea player loaned by Hull from Chelsea in pre-season, the other being defender Ola Aina.

Why on earth did Chelsea buy him at age 23 if he was never going to figure in their first team. There is something very dodgy about the number of players that they loan out 2009–2015 Reading

I can think of 10 Chelsea players who have signed for clubs on Loan in pre-season : Loftus-Cheek,Aina,Kalas,Ugbo,Blackman,Hector,Brown,Piazon,Dasilva,Palmer. Might be even more.
