Both sadly passed away yesterday and both provided fantastic careers within the film and literature world: Sam Shepard: Jeanne Moreau: Pure class!

RIP Sam and RIP Jeanne Moreau. Sam didn't do too badly when he turned his hand to songwriting either,co-writing the great Brownsville Girl with Bob Dylan.

Moving tributes to Sam 'Icon' Shepard: More talent in his little finger than whole cast of Love Island and Celebrity Big Brother put together. How the press and public seems to eulogise Zzzz-list celebrities these days as opposed to versatile, supremely talented artistes. What hope for generations to come?
