I'm not 'having a go' at anyone. You don't have to leap to defense along such predictable lines.
I'm interested in why he made such a comparison out of nowhere and so I asked. It seems like an odd thing to say.

The thread title may well a nod or a prod to another. I ignored supporting or attacking that. It's irrelevant to me as I'm commenting on the story and replies to it.

Ok, I'll explain my piss-take. Whenever there is discussion about any immigrant 'community', the left come out with "the NHS would collapse without them", it's a stock left response, the idea being that you can justify anything if you say it supports the NHS. So if you were familiar with my postings, I tend to say 'the NHS would collapse without them' when referring to practically anyone - immigrants, non-immigrants, animals, inanimate objects, absolutely anything really.
