There is no number 9 in the squad numbers! Has he someone lined up and ready to come???

I presume Benteke prefers 17 and there is no other fit forward who should be given the number. As mentioned on this site many times, I think most of us were hoping for a least one more striker before the season started. Hopefully a couple in before the end of the transfer window and no injury to Benteke. Personally, I would have preferred this to have been addressed than the additional loan defender this week. But we will have to wait and see. T

The Spammers have been paying for more than that for just one player. So do SP and FDB think they can compete in this league without spending serious money? Instead, gambling on loans of untested young players? Is that the plan?
