A much better display today. Thought Hennessey and RLC were superb and we looked more organised. My only concern is the lack of creativity in the final 3rd, it showed how much we missed Zaha today. We should be at the start of the season, where we having to shunt dann as a striker. Really optimistic about Swansea but really need that 2 or 3 additions to turn these results into draw. RLC what a player he is. Do you feel we need recruits before Swansea to get a positive result.

Parish's Wallet? It hasn't been involved for some time. It's not his money anymore, it's supposed to be the new owners who put money into the club, which doesn't seem to be happening

In order to buy better players we need to off load some of the dead wood. this is not happening and we are extending the contracts of players who will never play in the Premier league again.Money is it seems being held back for long term projects but our league status must be the priority,I think there Is a lot of muddled thinking and the let's see where we are at Christmas mentality has to stop,we may not get a "firefighter" of the Pulis ,Allardyce quality.

Agree. I'd rather keep Cabaye and mcarthur but if we have to sacrifice one of them to get some movement, then so be it. FDB said there's funds available but to have 1 strikers in the whole of August is ridiculous especially the money in the prem league.

its all well saying SP needs to get his wallet out and we gto £100m per annum blah blah blah.

i recon our wage bill is close to £65m a year alone...take the money spent in last 12 months, circa another £65m and weve doen a years PL money right there.

lets try an dispell this myth were rolling in money and have a bottomless pit just because were in the PL. lets get real.

relativly speaking i bet were now not making money as a club.

i think we need to sell a few players before we spend

Well said, and the thing that all these people crying out to buy this player or that, or get 4-5 players in before the end of the window forget, is that we have to find players that actually WANT to come to Palace. Let's face it, based on our performances with Managers and relegation battles over the last few seasons, we're probably not going to be too many players' No 1 choice!

Harsh maybe, but true - this aint Fantasy Football VII

Regardless of the money is this currently an adequate squad to survive with no signings.
