Following SP's reluctance or failure to fund any new signings for the new season the real reason why Big Sam quit as manager at the end of last season? I tend to think that it was and also believe that that was the real reason why Pulis quit!

Sam has retired. Yes he may be tempted back, but he has retired, hard to stay in a job when you do that.

To be perfectly honest niether these managers are the sort we need long term, we need the sort of manager we have now, one who will look into our own infrustructure and dig out gems like Southgate, Moses and Samson which is why Parish took him on.

I am looking forward to the day a manager lasts longer than 2 years, let alone see their contract out. For us to truly move forward we need to let the manager do the job they were hired to do.
