166 Million to be precise...

Shows that we are under performing and that the investment has been there from Parish over the years.

I know most people here are anti Parish, but I love what he's done for our club, we've enjoyed promotion, 5th year in the prem and a cup final too!

Hopkin looks to curl one!

I wouldn't say most people here are anti-Parish. I think 99% of the whole club is massively happy with the general what-has-happened since he took over.

Unfortunately Parish has been let down my a number of people he has employed.
I have faith in his commitment to Palace, rather him than some faceless Yank or Chinaman.

That was a gross spend for the last 5 years.

Net spend ditto was total of £109,335,000.

Average yearly net spend ditto was ££21,867,000.

I personally cannot see anything at all bad that Steve Parrish has done for the Palace!! Having said that, how the Board or Steve Parrish could possibly employ a manager with not one days experience in this the best football league in the world, either on the pitch or in a managerial position is beyond me!!

The appointment of FDB was a disaster waiting to happen from day one, and I am sure the results achieved so far will NOT be a shock to many ardent Palace supporters, if they are honest with themselves.

Looking at our fixture list for the next few weeks, I can easily see this disorganized team still being pointless on October 21st!!!!!!!

This squad has already proven itself capable of being able to handle the pressure of the Premier League, but to change styles to one that does not suit the playing staff, but suits the managerial preference is Premiership suicide!!!

Get real please Steve and the board and appoint a manager now who understands and knows what English football at the highest level is all about. You cannot wait until October, as by that time our team will be 10 points behind most of those teams we hoped to be 10 points ahead of!!!!!!

The same as Mourinho, Guardiola, Wenger, Klopp, Conte, Pochettino, Koeman etc all were when first appointed to PL clubs.

been like 3 games people, we need to give him more time to make the team his and for the players to get used to working with each other and knowing how they should all play, does not happen overnight. least wait until December before saying get rid of FDB.

But each one of the managers you quote had proven themselves in the high leagues. I wouldn't call the Dutch top league where Ajax is the only team of note, even comparable to to e`Serie A or the like at all!!!

That's not the same as saying in this league.

And even then you could argue that only Guardiola, Klopp and Conte had achieved real success in a top league prior to coming to England.

Personally think Parish needs to leave the managerial appointments to someone else.
Yes he and his merry band saved the club yarder yarder yarder but he cant appoint a manager to save his life.

Parish is a Palace fan but he is not good at transfers. If we end up paying 30 million for Salko why didn't he pay that before the Season started.
