After reading his interview it appears he is multiple weeks to months away from playing first team games. So our only signing can't provide immediate cover. The singular focus on him from finding players to fill our other holes at RB, GK, and most obviously striker. This has been an utterly disappointing transfer window. Starting to get concerned that we are a very poorly run club. If our aim is to be a second tier clubs like Everton, West Brom, and Southampton then we need to start acting like them. Identify targets early in the period and act decisively. So again big money spent on a guy probably a month or more from contributing. Great. I would preferred guys who can score goals or create opportunities for goals rather than an injured 27 year old CB. If not injured maybe understand signing but a guy still receiving treatment and just started training only. If others with him maybe but only someone who can't provide an immediate impact.

Not trying to be negative but just feel like the club wasn't prepared. Edited by babinjm (01 Sep 2017 3.27am)
