I've got a cracking Thai just around the corner, so not straying for the time being - and love a decent chippy. Tend to get chinese and indian takeaway type grub from the supermercado.

Ditto (well almost). It's the chippy for me. I find curry houses and Chinese incredibly expensive for what they are, whereas the quality supermarket alternatives are comparable and much cheaper.

Chinese probably, but it costs a fortune. They have a minimum order of £25 at our local if we want delivery. Even though me and the Mrs could have a decent stab at £25 worth of stir fry, we refuse to part with the cash so we have a bit of toast or some stale Pringles.

You can't take your money with you mate. Treat yourself next weekend.

They'd be lucky stay in business 5 minutes here. Great choice here far wider than London, that said the average run of mill Chinese take away's are very bland the more pricier ones seem to be better. Just in my neighbourhood you can eat Chinese, Indian, Filipino, Caribbean, Spanish (Cuban, Dominican, Puerto Rican) Etc........

To be fair I bought the Mrs a Mexican at Chiquito's last Thursday and a chicken burger at TGI today. The way I see it, when the credit card debt reaches a certain point a couple of fajitas and a burger are a drop in the ocean.

Funnily enough, the Chinese in question is called "Lucky" which I've always thought was admirable. Giving your Chinese restaurant a name that'd usually be appropriate for a pet dog is like a big two fingers at racial stereotyping. Good on them I say.
