So 50,000 took part in a march against a democratic decision.

It wasn't anywhere close to 50K from what I heard, still it doesn't matter, the right to protest is just as important as the right for democratic due process. If stamping their feet and sobbing hysterically into an EU flag is what they want, let them do it!

So,we now live in the kind of democratic country where if people march lawfully against a non-binding 51-49 per cent referendum outcome they should leave the country... Blimey.

We don't... however it appears we do live in a country where 51.89% gets rounded down to 51% and 48.11% gets rounded up to 49%. I find this a tad more worrying along with all the other post brexit vote 'revisionism'.

One slight 'technicality' is that Parliament (note: Parliament. not 'the Tories' not 'the Government') has voted to trigger 'Article 50'i.e. to leave the EU). So it's gone beyond a non-binding referendum. I did not vote 'Leave' but protesting against Brexit is now about as pointless as protesting against summer. Edited by YT (09 Sep 2017 7.38pm)

legaleagle. We have enough difficulty sorting out our own problems. Think we gave up being responsible for most of the world 50 or more years ago. It could be 99.99% to 0.01% for all I care, I'd still support the right of the 0.01% to vocally address their concerns infront of our legislature rather than tell them to 'get out'.
