Still maintain he was better than ever given credit for. Nippy little player who can drift between the lines, dribble and pick a pass etc. Definitely not a starter for us...but should've been given more opportunities than he was - Imo.

C'mon no need for that sort of language on here. I thought we were all a little bit more mature now regarding these issues.

Weird isn't it.. I remember him being a very good player at Bolton... When we signed him they were gutted and I thought we had a little gem on our hands.... Apart from that superb goal against Stoke he did little else!!

Did little else? Well from his perspective he earned over £35k a week for 3.5 years so he is now financially secure for the rest of his life.

Not bad for a player who was injured when we signed him and was 6 months away from being given a free from Bolton

Football is full of players who - let’s face it - aren’t much cop, yet they earn upwards of 80 times what ‘the working man’ gets paid. I’ve always thought this to be unsustainable, but the gravy train keeps on rollin’

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

It does indeed and until the TV companies stop funding it because viewers are switching off it will not change.

During the crash of 2008 I confidently predicted that SKY would take a big hit as people tightened their belts and that was one of the few bills you could live without.

Well I was wrong Sky subscriptions actually went up which just shows the power of football.
