Yes it most certainly is. Not now, but had we started the season with this team and it been fully fit till now, we would not be where we are.

Also, while the top 7 will be far away, between 8th to bottom the gap is paper thin and dependent on very fine margins e.g. tactically forcing square peg into round hole, injuries or unavailability of key players etc. The last I checked, 8th to 10th are top half.

And those who think that Zaha and Sakho wont make that much of a difference when they come back: in the next 2 games, maybe not. However, I watched the Spurs game. It was very tight and we matched them ball for ball. A 0-0 draw would have been fair. They were arguably the best team in the country then. Sakho goes off and Spurs are rampant - IMMEDIATELY. The fact that we are having this conversation at all is due to buying replacements for Papa and the 8 games Sakho played.
