In 3 or 4 games time when we get our 1st win they'll be on 9. To STs art with zero after 8 means picking up points in so many games it's going to take mid table form. No room for 2 losses in a row.

And we'll be on three so six points behind the pack. Yes we need to hit some mid table form, but frankly if we don't we don't deserve to be in the division.

The fact it's been the first five amplifies the situation.....we have lost five games in a row before, the next two are free hits then our season begins.

I think it was the lack of character and discipline as soon as we went behind that was worrying. Just don't seem to be able to play for a whole match at a time or fight back when things start going t*** up. But then if getting spanked by City were evidence of relegation status we'd have been gone years ago and we wouldn't be the only ones.

True, but be honest in every season in the PL so far there has been a stage where most of us thought we were doomed. Lets hope it is now just early in the season Originally posted by bexleydave

It's the Newcastle game I'll be cacking myself about. If we go 9 games without a point, or even possibly a goal, that'll be a quarter of the season gone. If I asked at the start of the season whether we could stay up playing only 3/4s of the games everyone else plays, I don't think we'd be too optimistic.

Even if we don't get points in the next two, we have to find a way of getting the ball in the onion bag a couple of times, because not scoring has become a habit.
