Can we escape from this terrible start. I personally think we can. It's going to take an awful lot of hard work but it can be done. Roy has recognised that punch isn't up to starting games and that ward is too shaky at right back. Things that people had seen long ago. It gives me confidence that he isn't just keeping to the same old script (apart from losing). I really believe that once some lads return from injury and we eventually score or get a point then we might see a different palace.
We have to keep with team, I know it's difficult but giving up on the team however much of a mess they are in won't help. Big game against Chelsea and if we Nick a point it might be the start of something. Here's to hope! But I'll be there getting behind the team. We can survive.

If we're still in it at Christmas and we do everything in the Winter window that we should have done in the Summer one, it's not impossible; any more injury problems before the Winter window and we're goosed.

They'll get a keeper and a striker minimum. They might not break the bank but they'll bring fresh faces into the squad which can sometimes do wonders for the other players too. I'm quietly confident we can start climbing the table.

Probably not.

Couple of injuries and the first 11 looks s***. We don't have the squad and the championship is where we deserve to be.

Can't keep a manager and can't get a decent squad together after all this time in the Prem.

We won't come back from this. Pulis and Sam both great managers who kept us up. Both also ending up quiting so that must say something about Parish.

Only thing that would have given us a chance was a striker but Parish being a dick didn't sign one. Wished he kept Campbell instead!

Would say enjoy the Prem whilst it lasts but really isn't a single enjoyable thing about Palace anymore.

Seen absolutely nothing so far in seven games which doesn't suggest we are anything but one of the three relegation places and our squad is way too weak to plug holes.

However, there are three or four clubs who aren't that much better than us so it is possible if unlikely.

To stand a chance we need our best team available for a big chunk of the season.
Ward, Puncheon, Delaney need to be on the bench and either Schlupp or Townsend to join them.
If we can get get the very best available on the pitch at the same time then.............
If not then we are doomed!

Basically, after Chelsea we have to win 10 out of the 30 games left and draw 5 or 6 to have a chance.

W10 D6 l14.

Doesn't sound too ridiculous does it? But then you have to input the players who aren't called Wilf or Mamadou and their ability to realise it is stoopid. There are still lower Championship level players in the squad and how that has been allowed to happen is beyond me.

Well done Mr Parish. You only had four years to get us stable and only £500mill to do it with.

I know it’s good to have got the two Manchester games, most probably our two toughest fixtures, out of the way early in the season, but it’s also unfortunate that we have had to play them when confidence is low and we have several key players injured. If we had a fully fit squad to choose from I would expect us to have put up a better fight. OK, we would probably still have lost, but we would surely not have lost as heavily. These two games have really dented our goal difference and I just hope that, if we are going to make a fight of staying up this season, we don’t have reason to regret these last two drubbings.

We won't be relegated because we have lost heavily at Man City and Man Utd. We may be relegated because have performed abysmally at home to Huddersfield and Swansea.
We'll lose at home to Chelsea and then see if the players have the backbone to turn up when they need to. I am not holding my breath.
Failure to buy a striker and then to loan out the young ones we have seems totally idiotic. In his Hol Radio monologue, Parish asked why we thought signing a striker wasn't a priority? Why didn't someone respond to say because we hadn't signed one and had loaned out the only ones we had?!
I don't think it's fair to criticise Parish on the money we have spent, but we can certainly argue that the money had not been spent to alleviate the weaknesses in key positions.

We've basically got an 8 game handicap. Our first 11 is pretty good, but the task looks beyond us.

I can't see it myself. We will be too far adrift at Xmas, then we will see the boards intent. They will either throw a bucket load of cash in the window to try keep us up, or they will sell the few good ones we have and prepare for the championship. There is also the question will any decent players want to come to a palace side with a really big task on their hands. Personally I think we will do the damage limitation and prepare for the worst , get rid of the dead wood and try for promotion the following season. Just my opinion.

oh yeah ,fcuk off brighton.
