I could not believe my ears!!! Pardew was the co-commentator on Sky for our game at Old Trafford. He said that Palace gone away from the defensively organised team that could also counter attack fluidly with sheer pace!!! he said Palace need to get back to that sort of system!!! He is unbelievable!!! So who changed it then 'Super AL!!!' - IT WAS YOU CHUM!!!
Everything has gone belly up since you had this wild dream after the Cup Final and changed us completely from what had made us successful. Since then we have been caught between the two stalls (not helped of course by the constant change of managers and methods) Anyone else find his hypocrisy breathtaking?

I know what you mean. I also find it unbeleiveable that managers get the sack on a fri and sat morn there doing a breakdown of how a team hasnt marked properly at corners or used the wrong tactics/substitutionsa etc.

And yet they get a lot of money for it.

I just turn the sound off when these w8nkers are on the box.

No he was put under pressure by the board (parish) to play a more expansive game, which Is why we are in this mess, if the board just left the football decisions to the people who are paid to make them, we would probably be a comfortable team with pulis still in charge.

Worse than Newcastle fans with the obsession of pardew on this board.

You may be right, or not. What I think you can conclude is they were too close. They didn't challenge each other.

Jedi. Not replaced.

Left back. Did they just agree with each other? Did neither raise the scenario of Souare being injured? Players do get injured. Did Pardew have a date and Parish a hairdressers appointment?

What I would give for Pardew back tomorrow. At least we would score goals, make an effort and not look terrified.

Hi, I in no way want to doubt other HOLers who know more than me - but where did this information that it was Parish who wanted Pardew to change our playing style come from? I must have missed this.

Isn't that actually his job. I'm a manager and my employers, give me a set of objectives and undertakings to achieve, along with things like budgets - and my job is to achieve them (or at least present why they're not achievable and negotiate around budget, objectives, personnel so on and so forth).

The idea that for some reason people should just hand over the full economic and decision making reins of the club, to a sub-contracted employee, who has no real personal consequence for their decisions, is insane in any business or organisation.

If Pardew were still in charge, we'd probably be having a much better season, in the championship.

SP should give Big Sam whatever he wants to come back and manage at Palace again.
