Back in my drinking days I booked into a $500.00 a night hotel in Biscayne Bay, Miami. After waking up the following day & realising the price, I found a Hotel near Little Havana called The New Yorker?.
Now to say this place was a dump would be like saying that hotel in Blackpool is The Ritz Carlton. Midway between a halfway house & a hotel It was flea ridden Bed Bug Central alongside all sorts of drop kicks & miscreants. On my last day before I flew to North Carolina I decided to get my laundry done on coming back an hour or so later the place was surrounded by numerous cops & a SWAT Team as one of the guests had taken a housemaid hostage & was holding her against her will with a machete to her throat.....

I feel a bit sorry for her as the journalist probably persuaded her that it was a human interest story that should be told in order to shame the hotel but in reality he knew that it would make a laughing stock of her and in answer to your question - not on your life
