that is the statistic i am getting from the BBC football website.

so, basically the Geordie Goalkeeper could have stayed in his dugout and drunk Nukee-Brown-Ale for the duration of the game ?

so, now its a simple decision for the senior management :

a ) spend money like a Pablo Escobar type and hope for a miracle in form. Form on a par with the teams near the top of the table

or

b) start making our plans for the Championship in August 2018.

I've seen nothing yet that says spend for survival but the sensible answer is neither of your choices. It's prepare for both and then make the decision after Christmas and maybe even delay until the last days of January. For the first time it might probably be sensible.

I don't know about spending money like Pablo Escobar, but murdering our rivals might work

Thanks, Palazio, for pointing this out. We did not produce one shot on target, and without that you need an own goal to win. Derby went down 10 years ago with 11 points, but managed to score 20 goals. Do anybody believe we can beat either?

Yes - he will not have to wash his gloves. His forehead may need a wipe though as he did have to rush out of his area and head the ball clear once.

Zero shots on target and zero strikers available. Maybe this time Parish might have learnt his lesson. Maybe not of course. I get the impression his seat in the directors box is the closest he's ever been to a football pitch.

Thats what you get when you play 2 wingers up front. Sure - it worked out last week as we got a lucky goal then Zaha scored a blinder, but its not going to work on a regular basis. We dont have any strikers at the club worth starting, and we are not putting shots on target or scoring goals....I wonder if those facts are related.....

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

I think you might be onto something. Get Hol radio to ask Steve if he sees a correlation? Actually don't bother. The window is shut.

I wonder if Parish had any accounts at Tag without any account managers or sales targets without any sales people. So why here?

Shots on target is a useless statistic, a bit like hitting shots straight at the keeper just to improve the stats. Appreciate we didn't score but we had chances today and that is more important than shots on target.

I am concerned however that we are still conceding from free kicks, we really need a better plan to stop that happening. A point at Newcastle would have been a good result.
