Since he wasn't around long enough to write an autobiography, not that he would have anyway, I really want to read a good Joe Strummer biography. I know there are some Clash fans on this site- can anyone recommend a good one? Would be much appreciated. Thanks

I don't think any have been written about the great man in a biographical sense but there are books on his politics and musical influences, one in particular is 'Joe Strummer and the Legend of the Clash'. My pal has said it's a good read. Did I ever tell you about the night I shook the great mans hand....? Here's a Joe moment... [Link] Ollie's Dad,Ash. Redemption Song by Chris Salewicz, it's a great read,he was a mate of his so has some good stories to tell, he covers his whole life, well worth it, I also just read Steve Jones autobiography, that was really good as well, very funny and loads of great stories.
