Sounds like the greedy BFS is out of the running for milking the USA national team and is keeping his options open to make money from the unsuspecting Everton. He will consider them fair game as they have foreign owners.

Isn't there some kind of time frame agreement with Parish on taking another job?

Got a £2m bonus on the basis of him not going to another club within 2 years I've heard. It's early doors, but I do find it odd he rejected Leicester and now this...

I thought that there would be compensation due if he took a job within 2 years but I would need to confirm this.

Would that be the same Sam Allardyce that kept us up, against the odds, last season? Did you expect him do it for free? He had a break clause in his contract and chose to exercise it, for which I personally don't blame him. He let us down gently (and early); would you have preferred him to say "I can't work with the control freak that runs this club any longer"?

I can assure you I had NOT even thought about Google for the source of my confirmation.

But clearly you are replaying a 'tattered old reel' as part of your hackneyed allegations.

Pretty sure that Everton would be more than happy to stump up the 2 mill on his behalf. A piss in the ocean for the cost of keeping them up.

I never ever ever thought that Sam Allardyce was retiring when he walked. If they hire him, it will be interesting to see if he goes for an instant turnaround up there, or whether he lets them wither until January before getting them to spend a fortune staying up.

I hope we don't let PvA go for anything less than £60m.
