Not such an easy choice as we've had our fair share of crapgaffers.
The recent past throws up Taylor, Francis, Holloway, Burley. All got us playing turgid football.

Hol'ers, who in your opinion, is the most woeful ever Palace manager?

Close thread.

I'd somehow managed to erase his tenure from my mind.

Holloway got us promoted so hardly 'worst', is he?

In recent times it's Taylor. What a let down. Devoid of any ideas, as we're the players

I would describe Burley as hasty and shoddy. Tried to play good football with people giving the ball away and nobody to cover it behind them. How many times did we concede from passing attacks in the final third?

I think we got promoted in spite of Holloway not because.
The game he was introduced to the crowd, can t remember the oppo, we played like Barca. As soon as he took over Dougies foundations of a team of leaders slowly unravelled. He did sign Phillips tho.

Double nomination:

Atilio Lombardo/Tomas Brolin

Non-English speaker and awful footballer.

Toss up between Francis and Taylor both totally clueless. I’m ignoring the Anti- Christ that was Mullery.

Since I've been supporting Palace it's got to be Peter Taylor with Trevor Francis 2nd.

Horrendous football.

If this thread is to have any longevity, we all need to ignore Mullery.

He managed us for about 40 games that season. He doesn't deserve 'worstest' manager contention. Teams work out how teams play when it's obvious as well we know anyway. We struggled when Garvan was out. That's when we slipped away.
