Hi fellow Palace fans. I rarely post but feel compelled to to do so now if for no other reason than it might help to alleviate my suffering by sharing. I cannot remember the last time I felt this devastated by a result. Ever since yesterday, try as I might, I keep on going back to the no points vs Spurs game. Constant replaying of that Zaha miss when through. Not in the slightest having a go at him. Just so distressed that we should have had a point at Newcastle, another vs Spam, and at least one vs Spurs if not three. Surely we will start scoring and winning soon? Please say that will happen. I have followed Palace since 1960, been through all the ups and downs but have never been so fearful of disaster (relegation) than now. How are others feeling at this time? I'd love to hear if I'm overreacting or not. Thanks!

Start praying for the sick. Specifically, Benteke.

Benteke's return should help .But also the more this group of players play together under RH's guidance the more they will hopefully become a tighter more dangerous outfit. I dream of turning on some media and being shocked to see that Palace have slammed a team to the tune of 5 goals. When did that last happen? Don Rogers et al vs Man U back in the day?

Yes you are, you big girl's blouse you!

If you have been supporting Palace since 1960, then you've survived worse than this - get over it.

Well we stuffed the Toon 5-1 didn't we? We annihilated Hull 4-0. And we scored four away at Swansea last season. Oh, wait...

I’ve been supporting Palace for almost as long as you and to be honest I felt very down on Sunday after the game. It’s the injustice or lack of luck that gets to me. If we are thoroughly outplayed and lose then that’s a fair result. I’ll hold my hands up and say we didn’t deserve anything. We are playing much better now than in the early games, but we are not getting the breaks. We are creating chances and have now started scoring at last, but not enough of our shots on target are going in. It’s partly shot placement, but it’s also our bad luck that the opposition keeper has chosen the games against us to play out of his skin. That surely won’t happen in every game and there’s still a lot of football to be played. Some of the toughest fixtures are out of the way now and soon we might even have a striker back in the side. So chin up feller.

Maybe oppo keepers are destined to be on top form, because they know our 'strikeforce' is ineffectual. Just saying. 'They' always say that top level sport is played as much in the mind as on the 'turf'.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Yes, I suppose that's why some clubs employ sports psychologists, but isn't there also the possibility that knowledge of our weakened attack might make the oppo keepers complacent? Mind you it doesn't seem to have worked like that. I think what inspired Gazzaniga on Sunday though is that he's hoping to become Spurs first choice keeper and took his chance to impress. As for Hart, I don't know what possessed him!

Burnley, West Ham, Newcastle, Tottenham and even the Liverpool game we deserved more than what we got. With this sense of injustice to our points total, it's like I am waiting for that 4 or 5 game unbeaten streak to materialise - but for some reasons it just doesn't want to come about.

Having said all that: In Roy I Trust.

Yes we were unlucky on Sunday and are definitely improving but we've now lost all 6 away games, 4 of those defeats have been 1-0.

If you don't score then you can't win.

Next 4 games are now crucial and hopefully Benteke might be back for 2 or 3 of them

Don't be surprised. Support and expect it this season.

But it's all fine and okay apparently.
