PVA upset some young palace fans by pulling out of an autograph signing session before last weekends match against Everton, because it was raining. Palace operate a rota with a different player asked to sign autographs before every home game, so all eyes will be on the weather forecast for south London this afternoon...

It might have been purely precautionary due to PVA's nightclub incident and his performance at Bristol City in the Cup.
The club may have concluded that a few supporters may have said something had he been there!
To say he didn't appear because it was raining was a poor excuse to use!
But PVA clearly has some work to do to get his own confidence levels up and also win some Palace fans back on his side.
