Strikers

• Tino monya Kadewere. (21) From Zimbabwe. Playing for Djurgårdens IF Fotboll and the Zimbabwe national team. 6ft tall with good dribbling skills, balance and can find the back of the net.
• Jason Cummings. (21). From Scotland. Playing for Nottingham Forest. Scored some decent and skillful goals for Hibernian F.C. Quick, agile, and one would say a very talented natural goal scorer. A fair few of his goals have been from quick thinking which has caught the other team off guard.
• Hirving Lozano. (22). From Mexico. Playing for PSV Eindhoven. Plays left wing but can play as a second striker.

Wingers

• Timothy Weah. (17). From the United States. Playing for PSG Under 17’s on Loan at New York City. Great shooting ability.
• Adam Reach (24). From England. Playing for Sheffield Wednesday. Scored a worldy against Aston Villa this season 18 seconds into the game on his left foot. 1 6ft tall winger with bags of talent. Possibly a future Gareth Bale!
• Gelson Martins. (22) From Portugal. Playing for Sporting CP. Really quick footed winger who can get behind the oppositions defence easily. Would really complement our wingers we already have. Suits the Palace counter attack style of football.
• ivan cavaleiro. (24). From Portugal. Playing for Wolverhampton Wanderers. Also playing for the Portugese national team. Quick, good at 1 on 1 situations. Can shoot from outside the box. Can shoot on his right and left foot. Has some pretty good defence minded play as well. Not scared to run at the opposition. Would complement Zaha and Andros well.

Defenders

• Dario Dumic. (25) From Bosnia. Playing for Nijmegen Eendracht Combinatie and the Bosnia national team. Strong quick central defender. Scoring goals for his team and recently scored against Belgium.

Just a few young talented players that I think would fit in well at Palace

Gelson Martins is a very good shout. I was in Lisbon in January so went along to see Sporting. Martins scored a fantastic goal and showed really impressive dribbling skills, with an end product mostly. A bit small, but definitely will be a top player. Would need to bulk up a bit for the Prem, though!

Is this thread a joke? He's had interest from Real Madrid and Arsenal. He's well known to be a potential future superstar. He currently plays (played until last night) champions league football. Why on earth would he want to come to Palace?

To be fair, the title of this thread is players I would like to see join Palace and not, players who think they are too good to join Palace.

Yeah, read the thread title before you start losing your s*** :-)

Anyway Liverpool were supposed to be bidding for him but decided to go with Salah as he would be less of a risk, which tells you that the reason he's still at Sporting despite being scouted by top clubs is that they reckon he's not ready yet, maybe physically.

So when Southampton were prepared to take a risk with players like Mane before selling him on with a massive profit, maybe Martins would be prepared to prove himself at a club like Palace, with the understanding that he could move to a "bigger" club once a release clause is met.

In any event, there's no point in getting upset about a thread which is, at this time of year, no more than a bit of fun! ;-)

In that case, why not Mane and Salah from Liverpool, Silva and Jesus from City etc.

Exactly. This thread is clearly what the OP thinks is somewhat realistic but I'd suggest that Gelson Martins is not at all, for the reasons stated. If it's just players "you'd like to see but have no chance of getting" then I'd say the list is pretty underwhelming.

I'd like to see Ronaldo, Messi, Mbappe, Neymar and plenty of others at Palace.

Really? I wouldn't. I'd like to see skilful players, yes, but also honest, hardworking, committed and red-and-blue players rather than the type who strut about for money and play properly when they need to or feel like it. Ronaldo in the Euros was a case in point: all petulant and stroppy at the beginning when they played poorly against Iceland, only started playing when they looked like going out, preening himself in the final.

I'd much rather watch Zaha, personally.
