I quote Roy, now can all those folk who think we have a team of simply not good enough this is full of over paid lazy couldn't careless no-marks please vent your frustrations. However in all my born days and there have been many I not seen a squad of players who work as hard as they are able for the cause. So have a breath get some historical prospective about where are club has been in the not to recent past and count your bless that we are where we are.

The whole administration thing gets quite old now to be honest. That’s was years ago and we certainly shouldn’t be using that as an excuse every time we fail to really push on.

We have something like the 7th most expensive team assembled and we should not be in the trouble we are in - on paper - so fans have every right to want more from the players out there.

Thankfully, since Roy has come in, the team have galvanised and we’ve gone 6 unbeaten and got ourselves back in the mix but enough of the don’t complain, we were hours from existence stance all the time. It’s bollox in the here and now.

It should never get old. We’ve been brought from the dead and should never ever forget it. It’s a miracle that we have been in the PL for the past 5 seasons and we as fans should always remember where we’ve very recently come from.

I agree - keeps everything in balance when you remember what so easily might have been.

The administration thing must NEVER be forgotten. It is the anchor that keeps things sane at Selhurst, that May be the reason why so many managers have quit for vague reasons. SP will not allow it to happen again. It's more than his money now and he is steering a very tight ship. At the moment he is contending with the realisation The most expensive player in a Palace shirt may be a flop. like the bank balance, he will turn that around, one way or another.
One things for sure, Woy is not the sort to go awandering, Even at his advanced age. COYP

I'm convinced that it is the number of managers we have had that has caused the problems we are having. I'm sure that there were good reasons for all of the departures but it certainly hasn't helped as we are not rich enough to have a total clear out in order to give the new manager who he wants. Hopefully Roy will be with us for a few seasons and things will change.

Totally agree that we should always remember our times in administration and do everything to ensure that it never happens again.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.
