Should we play youth team vs City?

It’s two days after the Arsenal game. No one else has come close to beating them. Surely we just bung in the youth team and play a 5-5-0?

The festive fixtures are the same for everyone, at least we have 2 at home, then a not too long trip to Southampton. 2 fixtures within days may be a bit much for the likes of Cabaye and maybe a few others but we should go with the mindset that we can catch them on an off day. If we need to rotate we have plenty of squad players before you get to the youth team: Kelly, Delaney, Souare, PVA, McArthur, Sako, Lee, Riedewald, Puncheon. All of whom can't get into the current XI.

Youth team no, but definitely should dig deep into the squad for that one and rest some top players.

We held city to 0-0 earlier this season until the minute before half time. Was a fantastic display and we could easily have taken the lead in the 1st half. We should be playing our strongest team, at some pointthey are going to have a bad day and lose. Edited by europalace (14 Dec 2017 7.47pm)
