I notice our first goals and points in away games coincided with the wearing, for the first time, of our second change strip. Our passing game was the best I've seen in ages so maybe the white helped the accuracy of our passes? We should now stick with the white strip until the 'magic' wears off .... never liked the black anyway. This is one match where everything went our way including a few contentious referee decisions, long may that continue too.

Are we allowed to wear our home kit in that case?

Swans are normally white. Eagles are usually a couple of colours, with yellow claws. When the two meet, feathers fly and usually the swans lose out.

And there was me thinking that my lucky beige pants were responsible for our win.

I just consider that game as three points "loaned" to them which we will collect, with interest hopefully, on Saturday.

I couldn't agree more - we looked brighter and sharper in white. Surely it gives players the critical fraction of a second they need to make decisions faster than the opposition? I've always preferred Palace in white or yellow. Much as I love the red and blue, bright and sharp it ain't. White or yellow please.

Not entirely as Benteke was clearly fouled in the box and was booked on a 50-50 ball - though should probably seen yellow for foul on Schmeichel
