Well it's not going to appeal to the largish section of their support who's second team is Brighton is it? Plus the little loves are a bit scared of our support for some reason and are finding excuses for staying away.

Bexley Dave

Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing!

There's every chance the West Street drinkers and pavement dancers who don't support Brighton but turn up for the off chance of some trouble will try and succeed in getting tickets.

I totally understand it, and it was inevitable.

Makes the decision to restrict our attendance all the more bizarre - anyone who wants a ticket will be able to get one by fair means or foul (I know a good few Brighton fans who would happily get me tickets) it just means instead of 4,000 hemmed in at the away end, they'll be interspersed with the home fans.

I said from the start that, if I can be bothered to go at all for what will be a reserve game, I'll go in the home end, as I'll get out quicker and be able to get home in decent time, also less likely to be treated badly by Sussex Police.

Would have been the same at Selhurst.
Less than 14,000 last Season for Man City.

Palace 13th 2017/18.

Exactly. People are only saying it's embarrassing because it's Brighton. We have struggled with selling cup tickets at home in previous years

They like us are probably more interested in staying up so we have the odd situation of a Palace - Weed match that neither gives that much of a toss about!

Still be nice to spank them though.

That's more than good enough for me tbh; though had the fixture been reversed and it was played at Selhurst...could you really see us selling so few tickets for it?

A number of their fans might enjoy that - literally speaking. Allegedly.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

They should give us half the stadium in a last-minute goodwill gesture. Nothing could go wrong.

We can hardly talk. I don't know if things have changed recently but since getting promoted, buying a ticket has been tedious with "loyalty points" needed, membership (is it still £50 to be able to buy a matchday ticket?) and all this s***. I have no way of proving I've been to over 100 games (never thought I'd even need to) apart from telling a few crap anecdotes like celebrating with Clinton Morrison in a completely empty Holmesdale stand.

Bollocks to modern football, massively overpriced, badly treated (as seen at the last game v Brighton) and available to stream so why bother going anymore?

Simon Nelson, either you knew about the possibility and ignored it, or didn't know, either way you are one completely incompetent copper.
