Today’s results have been good for us. West Ham, West Brom and Bournemouth draw so don’t really catch up too much and West Ham don’t go above us (unless we lose heavy to Arsenal). Stoke and Huddlesfield draw keeps them in it. Brighton and Southampton lose Just need Liverpool to beat Swansea and we’re good Plus I don’t see Newcastle beating City Edited by tonypeers5 (26 Dec 2017 5.10pm)

There will be weekend when results go for us and weekend when they don't. At the end of the day it is going to be 'Nip and tuck' all the way to the end of the season with supporters nerves badly frayed.

Excellent day for us. If we can sneak one point in the next two games somehow then maybe we won't be in the bottom three after 21 games. Be a great fillip going into the last 17.

Not much chance of a win against Arsenal but if it did happen we'd be 13th & just behind Brighton on GD. Would be the perfect Xmas present!

the 3pm games were pretty good. WBA were lucky to get a point. Very surprised Pardew got something out of Allardyce. Now let Pardew go and make a mess of it with a nice run of losses. now i will be a liverpool fan for 95 minutes
